About Me
I have been in the Administration and Bookkeeping profession for over 15 years in occupations such as Reception, Bookkeeping, AP/AR/Payroll/Collections, Executive Assistant to CEO, Training Coordinator, Sales, Purchasing, Service Accounting and the most recent Real Estate Assistant. I have re-organized and set up new filing systems, databases, procedures, spreadsheets and flowcharts for businesses. Accounting duties include calculating commissions, reconciliations, payroll, AR and AP, Collections, T4’s, personal taxes, Invoicing and issuing credits. Programs include QuickBooks, Simply Accounting, AccPac and BusinessVision. I have extensive knowledge in all Microsoft Office programs so charts, graphs, spreadsheets, mail merges, brochures, business cards, flowcharts, databases can all be done in a flash!
I am very flexible, resourceful and self-sufficient. I have gained extensive experiences and skills from each job that I have had and apply them to the next. Examples of learnt skills include contact with Purchasers, Suppliers, domestic and international to negotiate pricing and shipping details, prepare customs paperwork for shipping to and from the border, resolve and rectify client complaints, issue credits or adjust invoices, collections, setting up technical equipment ie. projectors, computer hardware and software, troubleshooting, and designing brochures/flyers/business cards for mail outs.
In real estate, I am up to date on the newest programs such as MLX Pro, Top Producer, and Virtual Nuance. I have taken courses for these programs as well as the Unlicensed Assistants Course. Duties involved doing CMA’s, typing out listings, statistics, weekly updates, home searches, setting up viewings and appointments, listing and website maintenance, measurements, correspondence with lawyers, mortgage brokers, and banks, prepare paperwork in Web forms needed for a listing or purchase, search up titles /address information in SPIN, CREB, City Assessment, and Conveyancing.
